2024 ValorUS LEAP Fellowship Program

2024 ValorUS LEAP Fellows

LEAP is designed to be an interactive distance learning and comprehensive training and practicum experience with a focus on building executive leadership skills.

LEAP Leaders People of Color Lead

Being a #LeapLeader is a reminder for me to intentionally reflect on the centuries of Black women leading efforts to raise awareness and end sexual violence, our movement’s history of anti-blackness, and the role we all have in centering anti-racism and survivor voices in our violence prevention practice.

I had the opportunity to do that in a safe space alongside fellow women of color leaders from across the country as a member of LEAP Cohort 10.

LEAP Fellowship

This space was transformative and indeed a breath of fresh air in the work of the Gender Based Violence Movement.

LEAP Fellows in Round Table Discussion

The support, sisterhood, mentorship, knowledge, and overall validation exchanged amongst the leaders within my cohort was phenomenal.

Thank you, Valor, and WOAR for allowing me to take part in this authentic and empowered program. ❤️
