Open Drop-in Therapeutic Groups

Weekly groups open to sexual assault survivors. Interested participants need only to attend on time and be a survivor of sexual violence.

CORE Group

A 10-week OPEN psycho-education group for adult survivors of sexual violence of any gender identification.

Topics covered in CORE include knowledge on common reactions after a sexual violence experience, coping skills/self-care, anger, guilt and self-blame, and relaxation techniques.

The goals of the CORE group focus on raising awareness of sexual violence, healing techniques, and connecting with other survivors for support. Group participants are asked not to share graphic sexual violent experiences in the group.

CORE group meets every Monday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Sexual Assault Court Support Group

A 6-week OPEN psycho-education group for adult survivors of sexual violence of any gender identification that need support navigating and understanding the criminal justice system.

Topics covered in this group include understanding what the criminal justice system for sexual assault cases looks like, ways to achieve closure outside of the criminal justice system, and restoring balance in life.

The goals of the Sexual Assault Court Support Group include understanding the reporting process and court system for sexual assault and connecting with other survivors for support. Group participants are asked not to share graphic sexual violent experiences in the group.

Sexual Assault Court Support Group meets every Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 3 pm.
